several guys on this board, along w/ myself, installed their nitrous at 100k. just compression test it and you'll know exactly what kind of shape its in.

What happens is you spray on a motor with low compression. Mine is at 150 across the board (yes, in know that is the very minimum). What would be the hights shot recomended?
thanks

I think you have the wrong idea.

Just make sure the engine is in good working condition. A compression test would determine a lot of things for you.

if you can't find a friend to do it, take it to pretty much any mechanic and they can do it for you. make sure they do it twice, the second time w/ oil in the cylinder. that'll let you know if its the rings.

spraying a motor with low compression is begging for trouble. it'll just exacerbate any problems you already have. make sure its in good working order, or you may end up seriously damaging it. hopefully its just the guides or seals, and its a "fairly" easy fix. if its the rings, well, its a pretty big PITA (pain in the ass) :(
