Hi forum ,

I am a newbie and just bought a 1994 se-r with abs and sunroof i got it checked out by a mechanic and he said the compression is 180 all cylinders and leak down came out good also the computer diagnostic came out cleared.. no errors... I did have some oil on a few plugs so the mechanics said i need to replace the oil rings and do a tune up i paid $3800 for it. For infor the car has 103,000 miles so it due for it but everything else came out good any help would be much appreciated. also the blower switch does not work in the 1 and 4 positions and 2 and 3 postions work fine.... i went to the se-r site already????? help please???

1. Get a new mechanic. You might need a new valve cover gasket at the most.

2. Look on ser.net about the blower resistor, or you may need a new blower switch.

I thought there was a o-ring or something to keep oil off of the plugs?

are you talking about the o rings on the VC?

yes the o rings on the valve cover ....
