With our cars, if you're going to lower and do it right, you have to get shortened struts up front. Unless you like bouncing around off of your bump stops. I think the Motivationals go for $1300? Look up Scott of ShigSpeed too. He can make you a badass setup. To be on the safe side, I'd save up $1700 for the little things and camber plates.

This is my opinion, put the money into the suspension first and get the wheels later. A good suspension setup will make the car handle soooooo much better. Fortunately, our stock 15's look decent. Its not like we're rollin around with hubcaps. And 15" tires are cheaper than 17" tires.

Oh yeah, check out the Teins too. Most of the guys in Japan use Tein. And I'd get the rear pillowball mounts too.

what's wrong with the eibach/agx combo? it's cheap and effective. I don't think you need the motivational if you are not going to autocross or anything. I have the agx combo and I like it.

The coilovers if you have over $1k to spend
If you want to spend a little less go with agx/GC ~$700
If you want to go even less go with agx/H&R ~$500

ask me why i say H&R as opposed to eibach

I would like to know where you can get H&R's and AGX's for 500 and the GC/AGX combo for 700??? Are these brand new prices or used???

well you will notice that i added the ~ sign to say that that is around about how much you would spend

shox.com H&R $190 agx $360
GC $399

as far as i can tell H&R are the best you can get for the price range in terms of stiffness and lowering. I can run the agx at 3f 6r and have a decient ride and I have never bottomed out in the ~10k miles i have had them.

those are pretty good prices. I would have to agree with you on the best bang for your buck. I wish I knew about the H&R's when I was in the market for springs. I have not heard anything bad about them and I will recommend them to anyone! Have a good one!
