Cheap solution for a mild turbo build.

2.25" OD welded steel, weighs 6.8 lbs, painted gloss black. Paint is chipped up, but can be refinished easily.

routes through CAI duct into the fender, under the front bumper to the FMIC outlet

Got a pic of it on the car? Tries visualizing how it goes routed but I'm not sure...

no pics of it in my car, it wouldn't fit my high-port manifold.

It fits sort of like an extended CAI. It exits the bay where most CAI's turn downward into the fender.

the lower end of the pipe (in the picture) connects to FMIC, exits straight towards driver's side of bumper. Bends 90 degrees around driver's side radiator support, then 90 deg upward into engine bay (may need to cut a circular hole here).

In other words: intercooler -> under driver's side of front bumper -> around rad. support -> up through sheet metal into engine bay (where most CAIs route).

Hope you got that.
