Hey guys,

I am looking for a newer designed Garrett T3 turbine housing. I need a 0.63 A/R with the 4 bolt discharge, as opposed to the older style 5 bolt discharge. I tried a local Garrett dealer, but they quoted me 12 weeks to get it from Garrett. I am hoping to find one in stock somewhere. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks,

that sucks jay, the only thing I could think of if anyone has a messed up newer style garret turbo lying around and would sell the exhaust housing, I have a few people I'll see that might have something like that lying around but its a long shot... on another note maybe you could help me out, I actually have a newer style garret t3 turbo with the 4 bolt exhaust housing which in my oppinion is a much superior design than there old 5 bolt discharge, I bought a downpipe that has a old 5 bolt flange on it, do you know a good place to buy this flange from I was thinking road race or something but maybe you know of a better place, or perhaps I could drill a 6 hole becuase it lookds like 3 of the holes line up allready but I don't think the turbo would sit right and it would be ghetto..... TIA

I may have one in stock right now. I know I have the .82 A/R housings. I will check and call you. What is your number?

I don't want to lead off topic... but this seemed like the appropriate message for this.

Where do you guys get the discharge flange for the downpipe ? I would like to get one of these new 4 bolt flanges to modify the fmax pipe when it's needed later for a new turbine housing .

Also is it true that the new discharge flange design is more efficent ? Efficient at what, discharging exhaust gases ? It seem like the added benfit of the design would almost be a trivial gain in the rest of the system.

Thanks for your help.

TiAL makes the 4-bolt flanges. I just ordered one from a local diesel shop the other day for a customer's GT3037.

Call Southeast Power Systems in Tampa, FL at 813-623-1551. Ask for Michael Franke, Performance Product Manager. The flanges come in mild and stainless steel. They run about $21 for the mild steel and close to $28 for the stainless, IIRC.

Travis,

This is what I am looking for. How much for the housing? Is it new or used? Either way is okay with me. Your PM mailbox is full by the way.

Thanks,

It's brand spankin' new.. I pulled it off of a garrett turbo to put a turbonetics housing on it. Email me at Travis_311@yahoo.com and we'll go over the shipping and everything..
