ok my buddy has a 89 crx with a jdm b18c (type r) with a clutch master aluminum fly wheel. The bolts have back out 2 times from the fly wheel .The second time we use blue locktight and tight them to 92lb and they back out In about 5 miles.Should we try red locktight? Wow it is nice to shift at 9800rpms

well he has jun stage 3 cams ,crowler retainers and springs.Even at 9800 it still is pullin very hard.So hard that the bolts are backing out lol well i guess we will try again.p.s. He is trying to get a se-r and we are going to turbo it :p the crx runs 12.6 with slicks

If he has a pully on the car that could be the problem. I have many friends that have Hondas and when they put after market pullies on the cars that do not have dampners in them the engines sufers from vibration problems at high RPMs. If this is not the case then the motor was poorly balanced and he need to pull the motor dowm and have it rebalanced. When balancing a motor do the crank, rods and pistons. The higher the RPM the more violent the shake. Also aftermarket pullies are know to vibrate the oil pump loose on Honda VTEC motors that rev high. I have seen this for my self many times so get on the ball.

Just get rid of the dam pully and everything will be ok.

Yeah I have seen alot of cases were people with UR pulleys on hondas end up with broken cranks due to the lack of dampers on the crank pulley. Go over to Honda-Tech and ask them about it. I am sure they will be nice about it;)
