i have a 1991 sentra se-r
z32 mafs
444cc pulsar injectors
nismo fpr
4 bar program
jwt ecu

i have just started my turbo install and have a couple questions.

1. what is the correct way to wire the 444cc injectors in.

i cut the stock injectors connecters and attached the pulsar injectors in. i didn't have the wiring diagrams so i matched the colors and the gauge for each wire. is this correct??

2. can anyone tell me or provide the wiring diagram that show the excact location of the (-) wire for each injector going into the ecu. i check the chilton repair manual and discovered the following
injector 1 green/ black
injector 2 yellow/ black
injector 3 white / black
injector 4 blue / black

i could not locate the exact loction according to the pin location number stated in the manual. i searched for the correct colors and wired the resistors in. the only color that had a dupicate was the green / black, but the other wire was located on the other side of the ecu and the one i wired the resistor in was close to the others mentioned above. is this correct??

3. i also wired in the z32 mafs and had a slight problem the wiring instructions provide by jwt. it stated that i needed to wire one three wires from the stock maf to the z32.

orange/ blue12 volt
orange 0-5 singnal
white ground

when i exposed the wires on the stock mafs harness i found two orange wires of diferent gauges. so i attached the wires from the z32 mafs as follows.

se-r z32

orange smaller gauge 0-5 volt signal

orange larger gauge 12 volt

white ground two black ground wires

i also check the volts at the 0-5 wire the readind was: .48 volts

again is this correct???

4. the nismo fpr. i don't have a fuel pressure gauge to measure with. so i did it by trail and error. jwt says that i should have 58 psi (4 bar program )

the car turns over fine and i have spark. it almost starts after i .
1. turn the key to power the fuel pump. i can hear the pump start and it sounds as fuel is returning in the tank via the fuel line.

2. continue to turn the key to engage the starter. the car cranks over fires about 1 second (like it firing in the combustion chamber)and then continues to crank over (as if it has no spark or fuel).

any ideas or new methods of trouble shooting.

last thing the injector end cap (where it enters the intake manifold cracked on one injector so i glued it back making sure i didn't clog the injector. so if anyone has 1 444cc pulsar injector i need it.

First off, get a fuel pressure gauge. It all is dependent upon fuel pressure. And fuel pressure is something you do not want to just have a guess at.

The 58psi reading you need with the FPR vacuum line *disconnected* (to simulate WOT). If the vacuum line is connected, set the FPR to 52psi.

Do those two things first, then see what happens.

An injector's cycle is a operated by solenoid. A solenoid is either open or closed, depending if there is current flowing through it or not. Polarity is not important.
Get a fuel pressure gauge, don't guess this, if you guess you might end up with 10psi too much fuel pressure when you finally hook up the gauge, don't ask how I know ;)

I hope this helps you some.

i thank you both for the reply. i will check the fuel pressure with a gauge this morning and set it a 52psi with the vacuum line disconnected

does anyone know the volt reading with the z32 mafs in the se-r.

at pin a the reading was about .48 volts

THE CAR RUNS !!!!!

the problem was that i had the fuel return line and the feed lines crossed. i set the fuel pressure to 52psi.

the car idles rough but i hope that it will chage in time after the ecu adjusts.

the custom fuel rail that i bought from jgy worked great.
all the wire connetions in the first post are corret for anyone needing them.

this should be a very cost effective setup, total cost about $2000

jim wolf ecu 4 bar program
gti-r manifold
jgy 2.5 in downpipe
jgy fuel rail
jgy hoses and connectors
jim wolf pp
jim wolf fiber tough clutch
jim wolf resistors
jim wolf z32 air filter with turbo intake
z32 mafs

next step gti-r front mount, 3in exhaust, boost controller, turbo timer and the t-28. 8 point roll cage. stay tuned and thanks for all the help:D :D :D

Did you put resisters on the injs. If you have not please do it quickly. Each colored wire for the inj needs a resister put on it, if you are using GTIR injs. You can get the resister from JWT

yes i did, i forgot to state that, i wired them in according to the wiring diagram above. oh yea thanks andreas for the z32 mafs it works great and i'm behind you 100% with the drag car. the time has come.
