SE-R / GTi-R

I have heard rumors that GTi-R Tein suspension will fit in a B13 SE-R, is this true? Will regular GTi-R struts and springs fit in a SE-R. I have a set of aftermarket springs and gab struts from a GTi-R that came with my motor and am very curious.

The front suspension is the same meaning that we could swap struts with a GTi-R.

I betting money the rear is the same to I have looked under a GTi-R and the freakin stabilizer bar looks just the same as Classis SE-R in that it had the same mounting point and bends.

It has been done, and it did raise the front end an inch. JimR brought it up before (try searching for it). It was done on a Sunny, though, I believe.

Why do u think it raised up the front an inch? Has anyone tried the tein suspension?
I am using the suspension right now on my B13. But I am not using the stock springs since I have lowering springs. But the stock springs of the GTiR will surely fit, will it increase the front height of ur car? most probably like what Monsoon and Suckit stated since the pulsar was built from a rally platform and the spring needs to be stiffer(?) specially in the front cause of the weight of the engine and AWD tranny. So the GtiR engine swapped in a B13 won't be as heavy as the Pulsar with the engine and AWD tranny thus it will not compress the front springs as much as it would in the Pulsar.

Are you using the Tein Coilovers for the GTi-R on your B13 SE-R? Or are you using a aftermarket strut and spring from a GTi-R on your SE-R?
I talked to Andreas Miko and he said that it won't work. He said the fronts are very close and the rears are totally diff. I am now very curious because I am getting two diff answers. Some people say it does work and some say it doesn't. HMMMMMMM.........what will it be.

All right for one we already know AD22VFs bolt on to our B13s that because the RNN14 and B13 have the same front HUBs and if you look at any GTi-R you can planly see the strut mounting point is the same as the B13 and the same pattern and diameter.

SE-R/GtiR,
I am not using the tein coilovers, but i beleive that they would fit. I am using the stock sruts with B+G lowering springs.

charlie2020,

Ted Mendham runs an SER in P class, Pro Rally (and does very well). His suspension is DMS 50mm giant struts - made for the N14 Pulsar GTiR. HE isn't using AD22VFs (he's not allowed to) They fit right up.
My NX suspension is Hot Bits, made for the N14 Sunny/Pulsar GTi. They fit right up.
Both of these are height adjustable.
