is there any way of modifying the standard shifter for short throw on n14 sunny think its the same as b13 or b14 its for a lad that has a n14 he was gonna buy one but just trying to save him some cash. cheers

Yep theres a how to somewhere here if you search.
Basically you remove the shifter and move the ball up to shorten the throw.You will have to cut it down after that for a lowered height if you want.
I have done this on 2 of my cars .Works great,and FREE.

I tried that with my shifter and the ball broke in half. There is notches that hold it in place and if you hit it down there's a GOOD chance it's going to break
