I killed my egg....I have a turboless avenir engine sitting here.....what would happen if I swapped it into my egg with stock everything? ( 259 inj, stock ecu, MAF)....any help?...comments?....:confused:

You can do it. If you swapped all the N/A parts on, it would be a low compression N/A motor waiting for a turbo.:D

It would have less power, but I'm not sure how much. Never saw one dynoed like that, you could be the first.:)

it may hardley run in fact if maybe you removed the oil cap or the dip stick it would loose enough compression to die, seen it happen to a guy that took his turbo of of this old pick up truck and just but a n/a manifold on it.

I ran a 4G63 T with a siezed turbo for about 2 weeks. I'd say it was only about 90-100 hp without the turbo. It was dog slow but ran fine. The 4G63 was only 7:8 compression so i'd say your motor will be fine. JUST SLOW.
