Half way through the install it started pouring , so now i have some time to ask this. Does the Progressive sway bar attach to the strut. It looks to me like it just connects the radius arm. Is it safe for it not to be connected to the strut and just the radius arm. Anyone have a pic of what it looks like just to make sure i am doing this right?

Tim Peele (tpeele) has one. He should be able to tell you.

I pretty much figure it out and got the old one off. The only problem i have really is taking off the radius arm. The nut wont budge. I tried spraying it and heating it. Tomarrow i will use a long "breaker bar". Any thing else i should know or try?

I just don't know how that one mounts. I know on my ST bar, the endlink attaches to the spindle nut, and it is a real PITA to get loose, as well. I got the biggest friggen' wrench I could find, and put the longest piece of pipe I could find over the end of it and stood on it, bouncing up an down until it broke loose.

If it doesn't budge with the long breaker bar, I'd just cut the nut with a cutoff wheel and if space is too tight, maybe cut it with a small cutoff wheel on a dremel, or use a nut splitter then just put a new nut on. Chances are you'll want to replace a nut that's that stubborn anyway.

Woo-hoo! got one side off.:(

After i got the driverside off and got on the bracket there is no room for a socket to go in. How do i torque down the bolt?i ca turn the nut with a wrench but the bolt spins. There seems to be no *** to hold the one end. Maybe i will try to find the same width and length bolt, but just with a smaller size head. The passenger side is trickey to because you have to pull up.

Is this for the front or rear? I put my front ST bar on about 3 weeks ago, and it was relatively simple. I haven't attempted the back yet because I have no time, and I'm also afraid of what I've heard about the install. I'm assuming you must be talking about the rear bar.

i read you need the metric equivalent of a 7/8 socket and a couple big open end adjustable wrenches..

is putting the car up on the arms to compress the suspension the right method??

i didn't find any very good write-ups on this proceedure.. so help please???.. anybody????.. i want to be informed when i try this tomorrow..
