i want to design a custom front end for a nx 2k and i was wondering what kind of stuff they use to make those bootleg ass looking front lips on some cars, i plan on creating a 3-d mold then puting that stuff over it to mold so i can fit it over the cars front end just to see how it looks, to see if its worth getting made, so any help u can give me with materials to make a thin shell after i make the mold would be helpful

I would think since it is for testing that standard 3-d mold out of foam or somthing and then use hardware store grade fiberglass and resin to lay out over it and harden. That would give you the shape and all for fitment.

thanx that sounds good, it mght take a while college scedule permitting but i hope to try and mold a skyline style front end

I hate fibergalss front ends. Use a ABS material like they use OE. Rubberized. Makes it more durable to hits.
