FIrst question is how hard is it to make the hotshot kit work on a p10 i've heard of it being done and does anyone know a price range for this kit and will it work on a t-28 setup.

Next question what is the biggest intercooler dimensions that you have seen put onto a g20 i want to buy one and do custom piping but i need to know what size is reasonable and not to much mod in order to fit it before i order one. Thanks

The HS kit is made for a T25 and the kit costs $950. I have had one on order since the end of Aug. I bought a newer style BB setup from JGY and the kit HS made was for the older type so JGY sent my turbo and manifold to them so they can change one pipe for me. Maybe they can do the same for you. The kit comes with a OEM BOV and filter also so if you didn't need tose things I'm sure the price would be a little cheaper. The iis from HKS and it isn't that big, (if you're looking for big) This is a pic of piping and intercooler. http://lion.esosoft.net/hotshot.com/products_turbos.htm

If you call them ask for Don. He has been more than helpful with my custom order. I used to hate calling them but now that he works there it looks like their customer service is getting better.

This is personal preference, but I'd much rather get a Bluebird DET and an HS installation kit. Less horsepower out of the box, but highly effective and 100% safe to start adding cool stuff like a T28 and a manifold from a GTi-R.

They made a prototype kit for George Roffe's P10, so ask about that. They quoted me $1100 for the DET install kit with HKS FMIC core, 3" downpipe, and B14 piping (standard), so your price should be a little higher than that. There is virtually no difference between the BB/T25 turbo location and the 'R/T28 location, so the pipes will fit without modification. The HKS intercooler core is plenty big for well over 300 HP, so don't sweat the size issue.

As for fitting their T3-based kit to a P10, I'm sure it's possible, but I would really much rather start with something better-designed. Inherent problems are the fact that it uses a T3 (not a great turbo, unless you're talking about a T31/T04E hybrid), a Deltagate wastegate, and it still requires $600 more than the listed $3000 pricetag for a JWT ECU. I'll take the $1500 engine with the $1100 pipe kit, $400 boost controller, and then the $600 ECU, thank you. ;)

I'm running the forge unit in my p10. Fits perfect. I wouldn't push more than 300hp thru it, but it will easily satisfy the needs of nearly any t25 or t28. this unit costs about 450. I had my intercooler piping custom done and it works out pretty well. Keep in mind that for a small turbo you don't necessarily need the larger piping; air just has to pressurize thrugh that much more cubic space.

If you want pics email me.

screw that intercooler. Just hack up the bumper and fit a huge intercooler in there for the same price.

I am by no means a turbo expert but he is going to run a T25 with 7-11 PSI would a HUGE intercooler give you any benefit? I thought a BIG intercooler was for BIG turbo setups? Correct me if I am wrong......

It would be over kill for just a T25 or T28 BUT! why just plan for today? Who the hell would be just happy with a T25? Soon it would be a T3/T4, TD0620G, FP Green or RED or LR2 or LR3. Don't plan for just today look 1 year down the road or 3 months. U might want to beable to take out a 03 Cobra.
