Check online for places where you can input the info and get several quotes e-mailed to you. That's what I did when I was thinking of buying an SE-R sight unseen that was down in FL. Sucky thing is that they pretty much charge you by weight, not mileage. Shipping from Fl to NE cost the same as shipping the same car from MN to NE, even though the mileage was 2/3 less.

hey muleman...

just go to google.com and search for 'automobile shipping'...there is a bunch of sites listed...ask for quotes from all of them...some are cheap and some aren't...but the reason some can be cheap is because the insurance and other stuff like handling of the car or how long and so on is not as good...so be careful...

for a rough estimation...i asked national transport (or something like that) and the quoted me $800 from ny to missouri...hellave expensive...cheaper for u to fly there and drive it down...

good luck man....;)

When I shipped a car from Ohio to Florida it cost $550. I went and took some numbers down from car transporters out of the back of Classic Car Trader Magazine. Called a few and went with the cheapest.
