well i ran the car and it pulled a code for the EGR so i put the hose back in , i bought the car from a dude that said he installed a stillen ECU in it , my question is if it has an upgraded ECU then why did it pull a code?

What does pulling a code and having a tuned ECU have to do with one another. Nothing. The ECU still has to run the car and make sure everything is functioning properly, if some thing is not working right High Performance or not the comp will let you know.

i was under the infulence that a high performance ECU had the EGR cut out of its program

I had to tell JWT to take the EGR out when I ordered mine. Not sure if this helps or not.

The speed does not sound wierd.
If you have a Stillen - which is a JWT ecu, then you will not have the speed limiter removed. You're RPM limit is most likely set to 7750, unless you have some crazy cam / valve spring setup. Also your stock Tach is probably off. If you hook up an aftermarket tach you will be able to confirm this. If you do have the stock ecu then your rpm limit is going to be 7100.

WOW I just realized you guys had b14's. When I saw the thing about 7750, and 7100, I didn't know what to say. I have taken mine to 8k, and stock was around 7700.
