I have a new tranny, clutch cable, axle seals, rear main seal, clutch,es bushing set,es motor mount inserts, ball joints, and tie rod ends to install on my car. I figure that if a shop was to do this for me it would be over a thousand buks and I dont have that money. How long does everyone out there that has ever installed any of this think it is gonna take me to do this?

This is a completely relative question. What kind of tools do you have? Do you have a lift? Have you done any of this before?

Just the clutch alone without a lift and my primitive tools would take me 3-4 hours.

Clutch cable, seals, ball joints, rod ends - another 3-4 hours easy.

... and then the motor mounts?

If you don't have a lift or power tools you are looking at a complete weekend.

thats a complete weekend for someone who has done this stuff before for a first timer it will take 2 to 3 times longer. i would suggest getting some knowledgeable friends to help you out

Knowledgeable friends are hard to come by here in Albuquerque? If I were back home that would be different. I have access to alot of tools and a lift because I live on base and the Auto Hobby Shop has all that stuff. It cost about 3 dollars or so an hour to use a bay with a lift and a little over a dollar to use just a flat bay. It is ridiculous here like the 70 buks an hour mecahnical labor fee's!
I know of one guy here that has a nice SE-R. Its a 91 model turbo'd with a 50 shot on it very fast but he owns the Nissan dealership. I have talked to him one time when I had a bad motor mount in my car he said that it would be a 70 dollar fee and then the parts would be extra for him to find out what was wrong with my car. I fixed it in less than an hour myself. If they were to fix it would have costed over 200 dollars. This one place wanted to charge me 380 dollars just to put the new clutch and tranny in. And that doesnt include the fluids and all the other work.

peter_96 lives in Albuquerque. I'm not saying he'll do the work for you or anything, just that he might know something, and he lives near you.
