I was wondering... Do you guys drive LHD or RHD GTI-Rs?

If you drive RHD GTI-Rs, do you also have RHD headlights? If so, would any of you guys be interested in some new LHD Sunny headlights?

How much?

Are you offering Original Nissan units made by Ichikoh?

Or are they third party aftermarket brand (eg DEPO, TYC)?

I drive RHD. And ya, what spd-dmn said. I'd be interested in a set of a genuine Ichikoh LHD euro headlamps. I'll need them when I get to Germany next year anyway :cool:. Also, would you be able to get the electronically adjustable headlights? I just hate blinding oncoming traffic eventhough I had them adjusted all the way down. Please let us know how much. Thanks.

@ spd-dmn: Yeah, they're basically new DEPO units. If you want some cheap Ichikoh units, I can go to the local scrapyard, there's some Sunny's that I can take the headlights from. They won't be electronically adjustible, though.

@88NissanB12: Like I said, new 3rd party units. However, DEPO has both the manually adjustible headlights, as the electronically adjustible headlights.

@sr20serprise: LHD units focus most of the light to the right side of the road, where there's no incoming traffic. RHD units, however, focus the light to the left side of the road, since they're made for countries where they drive on the "wrong" (left) side of the road, blinding oncoming traffic when using them in countries where they drive on the right side of the road.

I have an RHD GTI-R and I have "hybrid" LHD headlights on it.

I have ordered a pair of headlights from Greece but the plastic housing was cracked, so I removed the glass from the LHD headlights and swapped them onto my RHD housings, and I have also cut a piece of plastic from the RHD housing to have the correct bulb angle.

Works very well! But I prefer the Ichikoh over the DEPO as the socket where you put the H4 bulb is better. It holds the bulb better IMO.

If there's interest, I'll be taking a trip to that scrapyard this weekend. Let me know!

Im interested in LHD scrapyard lights if they are in good shape, I'm in california though?

Shipping will probably be somewhere around $50. What would you guys pay for them? I'm selling EDM NX headlights for $175 a pair, but not sure what to ask for the Sunny ones.

And I'd never buy a busted lamp.

Simplest thing would be just to remove the headlight glass and replace them. Rest is just the same it's just the glass that's bending the light!!!
