i have sat down and decided that i want somewhere in the neighborhood of 320whp. will the t28 support it, or do i need the t3? cams are going to be replaced with s4's, on a bbdet. thanks

How much do you have to spend? I dont think the T28 is good for more than 280whp IIRC. If you've got money, why don't you get one of those high tech turbos, like GT28xx (i dont remember its exact name) but it's supposed to have the power potential of a T4 with the spool up characteristics of a T28.

HKS GT2835, nice but mucho$$$$

what ever happened to the disco potato? that would fit his needs?

I've seen a t28 with a t04b housing pull 285hp While some more could probalby be pulled out with some more tuning that isn't something you would run on the street all the time.

The discot potato is good for maybe 320hp but that is only speculation. It pulled I believe right around 280 something before. So with some extra tuning I'm sure it can be in the 300 range.

So yes it could be done but its not power you would be running in a every day setup.

If you are looking for the mid to low 300s and only want to spend around the cost of a t28 then yes you would want a t3/t4. Don't got with a t04b though. That will limit the power you can make, go with something more like a t3/to4e

i have talked with a few board members, and they say the incon is bad ass. i need info, as i believe i have heard it fits the t25 manifold. where can i price this incon turbo?i dont drive my car everyday, it is a weekend warrior. i want to be over 300whp, thats the goal. if i go with the t3t04e, i will need a mew manifold, dp,etc, as where if the incon fits my manifold, i have saved some money. i aslo plan on doing cams, and full 3" exhaust(i have 2 1/2 turbo back now). thanks everyone

I would be interested to know if the Incon fits a BB manifold.

Andreas Miko Sells them for $1600 if i recall. Now these turbos will spool up really quick and still give you awesome topend power. Good for a daily driver/weekend warrior

No, it will fit the gti-r manifold, but not the BB manifold. Also, DO NOT even consider getting a T04B Compressor. The one you want to look at is the T04E (E!) THe 'B' compressors are big pieces of shit.

I think if you use the T04b housing with t28 internals it makes more power, I think thats what Ray Kawski did.

im curious to know why the Incon GTBB37 "wont" fit on a BB manifold. The GTi-R T-28 will fit on the BB manifold there for the Incon will bolt up. Is it a block clearance issue?

The T-28 will hit the block on a BB manifold. (it will pysically bolt to the manifolt because of the same flange but not to the block) It won't work. That is why I asked about the Incon. Question answered.

I have read nothing but good things about the GT2835 and the GT3037 turbos. Save your pennies and get the best.
