Hey guys, im starting to piece together a a turbo setup. I say within the next 6months i will be done. I Was just wondering if there is anything i should/shouldnt do to my DE for the next few months. It is a JDM DE Im really unsure whether it is a true high compression or not. But should i just take it easy for now, or should i just drive normally like i have been? This may be dorky questions but i just don't want to do anything to mess somethingup. Thanks,

Why drive it easy?

Drive the shit out of it, if you're afraid to drive it hard now, what will do you when the thing is putting down more power??

Tap the block. That'll keep you busy. Here's a tip that Dre told me: Drill it from the bottom. Ben's got the bit and the tap. He'll loan it to you. Then extend your 02 sensor wires and get your gauges working.

Cheers,
Charlie :)

The easiest way by far to drill and tap is to have no AC condensor of radiator in the way. (experienced from hey808's car) I've thought about doing it with the drill above you but that would suck. From the top (for my Makita drill that's it's particular side) I remove the radiator and header and lift the back of the drill about an inch off of the condensor. That's about the right angle.

Oh, and drill a smaller pilot hole first.

I've done this a few times :)
