: Sunny trunklid, yes or no?

Ok gang, I'm having some issues with my spoiler, one side keeps coming up, basically because the hole for the bolt is cross threaded, and it lifts up when I close the trunk, I tried using a thicker bolt, but nothing. Also there's no bolt in the middle, because thats been broken since before I had the car.

My options are, get a new spoiler, take this one off, and cover the holes, or get a Sunny trunk lid which comes without a spoiler.

I took mine off for a day or too, and it didnt look that bad, so the Sunny lid wouldnt bother me.

What do you guys think?

thats how the Sunny lid is. Still has the inner lights, but no spoiler.

haha, dood ill you have to do now is find an E, hey i tried to take of the wing on my ex 94, but theyre bolted on differently.. so no go, but the 92 has the two screws and comes off easy. So i think im going wingless as well. Car is very very not good looking but on the very snoring sleeper side.

Hmm, I dunno bro. What about going to a junk yard and taking the trunk off that black SE-R alex had at his house... oh nevermind, we took the spoiler off that one too:(

I am not fond of the way it looks without a spoiler. I say fix it, i'm sure there is a way. :(

what will be so special about the sunny lid from other lids except that it will have faded emblems and lettering on it(well hopefully not faded, but..) and cost more than a USDM lid

The trunk lids we found are in mint condition. The emblems are mint as well. Bro and the price we get them for is un heard of. Extremely cheap.... You are not the only one that finds JDM shit!!;) (Just giving you shit bro)

Now for you Serban..... You know I love the Sunny emblems but you can not get rid of the spoiler. Thats what gives the SE-R its own touch of class!! JMHO!!:D

The spolier is held on by bolts and double sided tape. That might be the problem with it lifting at speeds.

I did just that today, I got some double sided tape, and wrapped that one bolt that was spinning in the whole with teflon tape. So far the spoiler is on there solid. If it starts getting loose again...time to become wingless :)
