Mustang Cobra Mafs, I have heard of putting them on the SR20 engines but I was wandering what good it does or if its better to get a 300zx TT Maf, or a stock SR20 one for that matter? What year does the Cobra Mafs come off of as well as the TT maf? Does the ECU have to be reprogrammed for these? Do they have to be rewired for the SR20 harness? Thanks for the help.

Not needed on n/a cars. Only on higher boost turbos and maybe with big nitrous shots. The voltage reading on the stock MAF tops out under these conditions.
Can't remember the year but its in the archives. Yes you need to get a reprogrammed ECU. You get a Cobra harness ($15).

The cobra maf is typicaly needed for highly turbo charged cars once the limits of the stock one have been exceded.. Generaly larger injectors are needed as well... It is not needed for n/a cars.
