Hello all,

I'm new to Nissan and have a 2000 SE
w/ performance pkg. I have previously owned VW for just about my whole life .
Tuning the B15 seems a lot more fun , but I'm having trouble finding any decent
aftermarket parts . Any help or ideas would greatly be appreciated . Thank You .

I'm guessing you have the SR20DE engine, which has aftermarket support by some of these companies:

Stillen, Jimwolftechnology, Hotshot, Suspension Techniques,
Motivational engineering, and more. some companies have better parts than others.

also do a search for these nissan dealerships, who sell aftermarket parts for our cars:

Mossy Nissan (mossyperformance)

-I"m new also and have a loooooong way to go.

I have seen some crazy stuff and some good stuff on the b15 boards. So use common sense. I think this is a list of things to consider. Check for availability and fitment. Hotshot headers should work just fine, Strumong has an exhaust for the car. AEM has a CAI (I think), DON'T put underdrive pullies on the engine. They will fit but with the 2000+ crank it could lead to problems. The problems are the ECU and the Cams. Neither of those have been resolved/developed. I would consider getting a adjustabel FPR (if you don't have a returnless system) and try to tune your car on the dyno with the fpr and adjust the timing.

Actually the cams are out. JWT has the roller S3's, but no ECU.

CAI's: Hotshot, PR and AEM. There is a nw place called Magan Racing that also has one but no dyno #'s. Best choice is AEM or HS.

WAI: there are a few like Injen and JWT.

Springs: Eiback, H&R, Progress, Ground Control, B + G, Motivational, Tein to name a few.

Dampers: Get Spec V dampers. There is a RUMOR that Koni and KYB will have dampers by mid 2003, but B15'ers have been promised things before and never been delivered.

Recommended: Motivational or Tein for full coilover setup. GC with 300F/350R and Spec V dampers.

SWay bars: Only rear available from Progress and Stillen. Recommended: Progress

Short SHifters: Pacesetter or B & M

Brakes: 93 - 97 rotors and pads are the exact same. Goodridge SS lines will work too.

Header: Hotshot, Pacesetter and someday soon, AEBS. CHeap power, get Pacesetter. More power and a bit more pretty, get HS.
