Some1 please educate me.
As I understand it, This feature comes only on DET blocks, so here are my ???'s
1.) Do all DET blocks have these?
2.) Are Piston Oil Coolers some kind of assembly or is it something machined into the block...if so
3.) Will overboring 1mm affect anyhting???
4.) Can they be added to a DE block or is it more efficient to just get a DET block???
5.) What is the cost on this modification average??
6.) Are ther any complications or Negative sides to this feature?

I can answer some of these questions.
1- yes, I believe they all come with them
2- they are assemblies and are machined into the block
3- no
4- yes. JWT does this
5- somewhere around $200 I think
6- don't think so

Ok Im catching on, but now what i cant seem to put together in my mind is exactly where they go or even what they look like.....pics would be great ..LOL but what exactly is involved into machining them into the cylinders/block or wherever,...??
so in other words it looks like it would be less time consuming and cost effective to score a DET block if I can rather than fixin up the DE...also then I could use DET oil pans and the block would already be tapped for a return line...
some1 correct me if Im wrong..just trying to do some progressive planning...

I think I should just find a DET block to build up....It seems like it would be faster and easier to go that route...
