Aug. 26, 27 & 28 Mosport GP lapping and events 6 & 7 - Canadian Nationals

Sept. 10 and 11 Shannonville Fabi and Long, events 8 & 9

Time Attack is a much better name of these series - more ballsy!

What class are you going to be in after the swap Frank?

Still a few variables to work out, but it'll jump me quite a few classes. I think I'll probably land in GT1, SGT3 or SGT2.

The August weekend is now the Canadian Nationals!

The 2011 Ontario Time Attack Season is just around the corner! We have 9 events scheduled this year at; Mosport DDT, Shannonville Motorsports Park (all configurations), and Mosport International Raceway.

We are also running two track schools this year where you can learn fundamental and advanced driving skills. The first school will be held at Mosport DDT, the other at Mosport International Raceway. These schools aren’t just for “newbies”, even if you’ve done some lapping before, the schools will make you faster!

Ontario Time Attack (previously “Solosprint” or “Solo1”) is re-launching this year with an all new event format that includes more lapping time, hired marshals and new sponsors. It remains one of the most affordable forms of motorsport and competes on some of Ontario’s best race tracks.

We offer a car classification system that strives to enable a wide range of vehicles, from stock to highly modified, to compete as evenly as possible. Thanks to our sponsors, we expect to give away prizes with a cumulative value of over $10,000!

The NX wasn't perfectly prepared - still a few things to get sorted out. Maybe it'll be closer at Shannonville for events 3 and 4. Are you coming?

I think I was fourth or so at one and two. Behind an STi, a Corvette, a supercharge RX8. But my times were still poor and the car simply wasn't ready for hard track use. Stay tuned!

Glad to hear that the NX is playing with some serious cars, are you still having cooling issues? Let us know what difference the front openings did in terms of cooling.

The NX won't be there. I've got good improvement with the cooling slots and I was staying close to a Z06 on SMP's straight, but I've broken an axle mount. And a couple of other minor things. I'll be ready mid-july.
