Sup guys,
I was wondering if anybody has any experience with the Aeromotive 340 fuel pump. Recently my Walbro 255 gave out when we raised the boost on my car,18lbs, and i wanted to know if anybody knows anything about the Aero pump. The some of the charts on the website show 30% gain over the walbro but i haven't seen any comments from real people using it. I even googled it :squint:.

The Skyline guys in AUS swear by that pump.

I looked at the bosch pump before finding out about the Aeromotive 340. Looks good but i decided to go with the Aeromotive because of the extra flow. I already ordered it at my local shop but it seems that they are selling like hot cakes, no one has them in stock. :(
Well i will let you guys now how it goes when i get it.

I installed the AE 340 2 days ago and i have to say that i wont be buying a Walbro product for my turbo cars for a long time. Solid pump, works great, boost comes in clean.

That aeromotive unit is a great pump, I only know one guy with it, but I will likely get one the next time I am in the market.

Just wondering which version did you get? I saw that there are a few different part numbers out there. Thinking about picking one up for my B14...

I got the 11141 but i believe the one for our cars is the 11142. I had to use the fuel pickup from my old Walbro since the AE one sits at a 90degree angle. The difference between the 11141 and the 11142 is that the fuel outlet does not align with the stock hose, but this is no big deal since you can always bend the hose a bit.

most of aeromotive's products are very good. Ive always been tempted to replace the facotry fuel lines and run a nice aeromotive fuel system. how did the price compare to the walbor/bosch? Cool thing about aeromotive too is most places have tons in stock (i.e Jegs, Summti, etc)

Price comparison the Walbro is much cheaper then the Aeromotive. I can get my hands on a Walbro 255 for $85 compare to the Aeromotive 340 which i paid $165 for. I figured i'll just buy a single pump instead of buying a second Walbro and running them both. The AE unit is so much quieter then the Walbro one.

I wonder if the AE unit is a dry bushing set up like the walmart's.
