I used to have a place racing cai on my 95 se-r, but I was told that the short ram would better all around especially at the top end. I felt a little difference at the top end but the low end feels a little weak. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

There's a big discussion about it now in the General Forum

I've played with the Cold air extension on and off, and on a Hot day i noticed a big difference.

I'd stick w/ the CAI

cold air makes more power than warm/hot air. I personally would take a lower intake temp. than a small difference in the upper rpms. IMHO:cool:

before I went turbo I had a PRI CAI, I loved it. It seemed to work much better than the stillen (POP wanna be) intake I originally had.

(but now I have boost, muwhahahaha) :D

if you notice, the thread in the general forum is posted upon by mostly high port owners. they have more bends the us low ports. i had the JWT POP and now i have the HS CAI. i drove all different speeds with the two seperate sets on the same day. i know the butt dyno is not very accurate, but the CAI is much stronger feeling past 4200 rpm. plus my dyno #'s proved the CAI was better than the POP...to the tune of 6 peak hp. unfortunately i can't scan the sheet...i lost in the move from florida.

My CAI works better. BTW, ser-420, you didn't get rooked from ImportPartsPlus?? I am surprised you got it this fast if you still went through them...
