Has anyone lost the bolts going through the mount into the transmission? I seemed to have lsheared mine off for unknown reasons this past weekend. I noticed a lot of vibration from 60MPH on up and I was on a road trip so I checked it when I got home and the bolts sheared themselves off. I am unsure how this happened or why any suggestions? And any easy ways to get what is left in the tranny out? :(
My luck with vehicles lately has not been great and what sucks even worse it I have been laid off since April with no luck in finding another job. :mad:

Yep all three of them gone. :( My other car is down with clutch issues and now this happens. No luck at all.

Did you recently replace the mount?
If so, did you torque the bolts down to the proper torque?
If not, you could have torqued them too much and they were on the brink of snapping. So when you drove the car, the tension from the engine caused them to snap completely through.

Nope I did not replace the mount. It is getting replaced this time though along with three new bolts.

my tranny mount is naaaasty!! i love it, i filled in the holes with bolts, then filled that in with rock hard industrial strength epoxy... its so hard and i have a sweet vibration now, the front and back es mounts didnt do it for me..... anyone ever done something with the passenger side big torque mount? (thats my last one to mess with before theyre all done) also... has anyone filled in the back mount with glue or something along with the es mount?? i have a solid tranny mount, front and back es mounts, and i still feel engine shake!
