the lever on my temp control broke again today after i tried forcing it to hot.
i took it apart to see that it's the piece of plastic that broke off.
what i can't figure out is, what exactly changes it from cool to hot or vice versa.
i tried moving the piece that is broken but it doesn't seem like it's suppose to move.
i'd be happy if i can *** get it to stay on hot. i'lljus turn off the fan in the summer.
also, the SE-R and the nx controls are the same right?

if you take the heating unit out its controlled by the cables that move the vents try tuggin on that to leave it on heat also check forsomething that may be kiniking the cable up not allowing you to select the position

same thing happened to me a couple months ago... what you have to do is take out the control panel for all the adjustments, and you will notice the plastic arm is broke for the heat control, i drilled a hole in each broken peice, tied it together with a metal bar, then covered all the broken area in epoxy... as of now, its holding strong.. since i put it back together, it has stuck a few times like it did to us... but the bar didn't break :D ... now my only problem is i have the cable sitting here for the fresh air and re-circulate adjuster... does anyone know where that goes too???:confused:
