This weekend at Englishtown I bumped into SPI. They are located in Cliffwood Beach NJ. I'm going to check their shop out this week. They look very legit. They've got a Dyno too! When I get home I'll check the info I've got and post the phone # and address. I'm not sure about the engine swaps but they do custom turbos, suspensions, and other things as well. They even sell JIC, whole product line, and other hard to get ***. products. The Supra they had with them made 721hp.

I was spectating. I'm working on the car now getting ready for the turbo next couple of weeks. I generally race but at NHRA events there is no class other than bracket that I can run in. I was also by myself this weekend just scouting and talking to some manufacturers. I saw a blue 200SX w/ extreme kit and a pearl white one w/ GTR kit but different rear. It was a good day but I left before eliminations. Those 6.9xx passes were making me feel sick.

There are a lot of ppl that can do the swap in the area. Full Throttle is more known for there honda swaps but has done fwd/rwd DET ones as Ive helped do some as well as my own. Im not too sure about SPI as they arent familiar with Nissans. There are other ppl in the area capable too, if you come down to the BBQ meet in brooklyn this sunday you will see about 15+ det's by my count to see who's done what. Check the northeast section for more details.

I'm just going to say my piece, being impartial I know they are your boys Simon, but I was at deli bizz in queens one night and I saw a swap that full throttle performed, it was a jdm gvr4 motor into a first gen ecliplse, same motor just a 16g and I think bigger injectors stock, and it was the most hideous and poorly done swap I have seen, the guy was leaking oil from his tranny as well which they hadnt taken care of. He said it was going back in tommorow for some of the things to be fixed but I don't just see the point behind not keeping the car until everything is finished.. I have also heard that they do good swaps--- I take Suckits word for it but I know what I saw that one night and it wasn't pretty... I was under the impression that sr20b12's father does a lot of swaps into fwd.... just my two cents...

Hey Sean, the car your talking about is Poon's. He just couldnt wait any longer so he just took it back. It went back in for nothing cause i think it was his axle seal. The vacuum problem was cause he probably has cams. The mechanic that did the work rallies his Evo3 back home so he was familiar with what had to be done. After that he was mad happy, as I believe he hasnt lost yet. Oh he has the Big 16g with 525cc injectors and for $1900 engine/tranny installed it was a steal.
