Or, perhaps vise is a better description?

Made a tool that pops the lower balljoint out in 5 minutes, on the car, without doing anything other than removing the wheel and cutting off the balljoint boot.

one end (not pictured) is keyed to rotate in and under the hub assembly

Took about 5 minutes to pop the balljoint out of the hub assembly. So easy!

If you use a mini sledge on the bottom of the knuckle, you can pop the ball joint without having to remove the axle.

Thanks. I balance that compliment by admitting that I had no idea what a balljoint fork, remover, whatever was when I made it. Would have saved a few minutes. Though not dollars.
