my car is still bucking at hard accereration and i tried to pull a code form the ECU several times and it wont pull a code, i did just like the FSM says, and the led doesnt blink at all, not even to say my car is running normal (which it isnt) but i tested my MAf the other day and got voltages which weren't to spec, think my MAF has something to do with it? ill try with a different multimeter but it doesnt explain why my ECU doesn't pull codes

led? the check engine light on the dash should be blinking and giving the codes. And at the least, you should get the 0505 code.

Turn the car on, turn the screw clockwise, wait 2 seconds, turn the screw counter clockwise. Its that easy. Once you have all the codes, turn the screw clockwise, then counter clockwise again. Some cars don't have the LED.

weird, in the FSM it says to turn CW, 2 secs, CCW-CW, 2 secs, CCW , and then you should get a code......

but i did like you said eric and it gave a code for the speed sensor, which is obvious because my speedo has never worked, but is no reason why my car is bucking and not giving me the code for it, i have been checking my plugs constantly and noticed that #3 is a bit darker than the rest, but i have checked the resistance on the injector and its right on, whats going on??? anyone know?

I got one for ya. My car wont start. I tried pulling codes but nothing. It never blinked. I put the car to the "on" position turned it clockwise for 2 seconds and then turned it counter-clockwise. Th LED never blinked as well as the check engine light. I am trying to figure out what is wrong because the car wont turn over.

Check the ECU fuse. It sounds like the computer isn't getting any power.

Could an ignition module be the problem?

the screw is on the ecu, which is located on the floor behind where your radio is. Just pull off the side panel down there and you will see it.
