Hey, does anyone know of any auto-x coming up soon? I have been wanting to put my car to the test for quite some time but at the time my car was not up to the requirements. Well, I believe it is now and I want to try it out. It will be my first time doing an auto-x so any suggestions would be helpfull.

TIA

awesome! glad to hear you are ready to try autoXing!

the Central Florida Region(CFR) SCCA website is

www.eec.com/racing

they have the scheduals, links to other clubs that also hold AutoXes, and links to pages that have more info on getting started in autox.

i believe the next one that I know off offhand is gonna be in gainesville(at G-ville international Raceway) on the test track(was at an event last weekend held on the test track and bounced it off the rev-limiter in 2nd!!!) great track, great surface, its put on by the Martin club and its on the 19th of october, supposed to be flat runs on the test track, 40 bux, no cones!http://www.martinsportscarclub.com/
scroll down a bit its there!!!

Chef, I'd have to say that one of the best spots in S. Fla is in Ft. Myers at Buckingham Airfield. Its usually a 1.0-1.2 mile course which usually contains more than a few sections where prodigious use of WOT is rewarded! The website is HERE (http://www.gulfcoastautocrossers.com/). I beleive the next event is Nov. 2 - 3. I usually run in the STS class, but you my friend, will be running modified Mr. GA16DET!
