just curious, when people refer to the heat shield, are they talkinga bout the heat shield on the cat? is that the main/only heat shield on the car that rattles? or are there others? i have a crazy rattle at 1900rpms and it bugs me, esp in traffic.

I once had a rattle that I thought were the heat sheilds, so I silconed them up where they touched (underside of chassis).

It turned out there was something *inside* my resonator.

hmm...no resonator here...just a thrust glasspack. maybe it's something inside my cat? that would suck.
