Very nice car... I really like it 200HP..nice. What kind of rims are those? Look a little deep very clean. I like your style.

Well.. 200HP give or take 20 ponies :D I don't know... it's definately NOT 200HP to the wheels LOL... The rims are 16" Rota Slipstreams from machiii.net The color is Steel Gray w/polished lip. Looking back I should have got Savannah Gray w/polished lip because the Savannha is darker and have more of a contrast with the polished lip. The rims are sorta "deep-dish"... looks like it could even be deeper, seeing how its not a very wide wheel and is tucked in well behind my fenders. The main reason I bought these rims however, is weight - 13.5lbs (11.5 for 15's)!
All I need rite now is a paint job (if you see the car in person and not in pics, you'll know why :( ) But anyhoow thanx for the compliments...I pretty much maxed-out in terms of power-adders, and I dont care much for suspension... so I'll just enjoy the (bouncy) ride for now and save up for my next project car - turbo 240!

That is really cool looking. I wish I would've gotten those rims rather than my Sub's. Those look a lot sweeter. :(

No I like the Subs too.... I think the difference is that my car is lower than yours. I really didn't like the way my Slipstreams looked at all until I cut my rear springs. I had lowering springs all around but for some reason the back was way hi. After I cut the rears and everything was nice and tucked, the rims looked much better on it (IMO).
I actually ordered some Circuit 8's but the deal didnt go thru..then I heard that the Slipstreams were lighter so I went with them.... I think Rotas are a good bargain... nice looks and light weight without breaking the bank.

So lets say you're claim is 180 chp or whp. What's in it to achieve those numbers?

- JDM SR20 with JDM intake manifold (no emissions crap)
- Custom Cold-Air Intake with MAF/Filter relocated to end of intake
- Hotshot Gen 1 header (gonna be replaced soon with the latest and greatest Gen 5..or 6.. or whatever they have by the time I can afford one!)
- Custom 2.5" exhaust with 2.5" cat, no resonator, and Magnaflow caca muffler (bwwwwwwwwaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhh!!)
- UR pulleys
- JWT S4 cams
- JWT ECU with S4 programs suppossedly (bought it used)
- Modine radiator (just put it in last nite after old one took a dump)
I estimated that I was pushing around 180 chp with my old USDM motor (same setup minus cams/ecu) cause I was running the same 1/4mile (14.7@93) as my friend who dynoed his car with 175 at the wheels. With a higher compression JDM motor, cams, and ecu you'd think that I'd make around 20hp more? Or so you'd think... I'll try to time my car again soon...
