I need to know what size the nut that holds the axle to the brake rotor is? Im in the process of trying to change my tranny but I dont have a deep well socket to fit this nut.

Do I need a 1 1/4" socket

I believe I used a 25mm.

I thought it was 30 or 32mm

you do not need to take off the rotor if your trying to change your tranny. myself and other northern alliance members have changed em when needed with out taking the axles off. unless you are actually trying to change the axle itsele you can just slide it out and move it to teh side

Yeah it was a 32mm got the left one loose but cant budge the right one yet.

Axle nuts are when a breaker bar with a 4ft. piece of 3" exaust pipe slid over it is your friend :-)
