hey all, i have the 2001 sentra se 2.0. i am looking for a set of cams. i heard through the grape vine that the intake cam from a 91-94 se-r will give me some good ponies. any sugestions?

: cams AntonioG 10-09-2002, 10:05 PM Unfortunately for you, you have a roller rocker motor. So, no cams for earlier SR20s will work. JWT just released some testing of their roller rocker cams. You might want to give them a call to see when they will be available. Also, cam makers in Europe also make roller rocker cams too. I e-mailed JWT but they've never gotten back to me. I'm assuming that if I decide to do an BB or Avenir swap in the next year or so, that the cams I put in my engine now won't swap into that motor. Why not? Pick an S3,S4, or C1 and they'll do just fine in a det. Yup, I'm getting either S4's or HKS 264, pretty much the same cam. I plam to get turbo... the only thing you need to do is get some cams gears to dial out overlap. I heard if you retard intake 2.5 degrees and advance exhaust ? degrees you get faster spool up... retard the exhaust and for better top end. | ||
