Hey everybody, I recently purchased a 92 SE-R with supposedly a JDM SR20 with DET Internals. Not 100% Sure on what I have.. I bought the car because I know a little about them, my friend James has owned a good amount of them, but I wanted to join here incase I can't get a hold of him or need to look around for stuff.. Normally I contribute to forums, I am on quite a few (I usually know how many every time they send out their birthday emails lol) but for the most part I lurk and learn..

I picked this car up for 1250 dollars and it definitely needs a major overhaul. It is basically a project until I decide to flip it and sell it. The car is 100% Rust free, it has a G20 Bumper molded on.. which will be getting cut off asap. fixing the drivers fender.. its a little dented. Interior needs to be stripped out and only 2 seats thats it lol.

Mod list from what I gathered from the previous owner is..

JDM SR20 Rebuilt with DET Internals, 3 angle valve job.
Rebuilt Tranny
Godspeed T25 76mm (ebay garbage)
FMIC
Turbo XS RFL knock off BOV
Blow Thru MAF Setup
660cc injectors
Walbro 190 FP
Nismo FPR
Supposedly Tuned
ACT 4puck clutch
after market flywheel

I am sure there is other little stuff that I am missing but I know I want to change it all because i am having a few issues.. Car doesn't want to idle at all, once the idle falls passed 1500 it dies out. the throttle feels to be almost on off, when you try to go partial throttle on it hits hard almost like to stabbed the throttle, there is only 3 bolts that hold the manifold on so its got a rowdy exhaust leak. It smokes a bit. It see's about 2 pounds of boost partial throttle then it breaks up..

What I want to try is...

Finding OEM Injectors(I have some but they are modded, the ends have been clipped almost)
Changing the MAF
IAC Valve
Fix the exhaust leaks
Spark plugs.

Any other suggestions let me know. Any input is greatly appreciated.

Among other things...what jumps out as a big flag if im understanding it correct? Blow thru MAF setup? What exactly do you mean? If your not drawing air threw a filter into the inlet side of the compressorsomething is seriously wrong! Stock injectors will never support the fuel needed under boost. Start with basics...Fix the manifold leak youll never build any boost if the manifold isnt sealed to the cyl head:). OH yeah post some pics....those can help...
