in the beginning i got my car fixed because the engine was fluttering, it had water dew all inside the part where the spark plugs were and the car kept stalling at idle and it had lost alot of power. well i got my car fixed and it has never ran like it was running before even before the problem, i would hit the gas and immediately the car would rev very fast like i put it in neutral and hit the gas. then after a while it wasn't responding like it was when i first got it fixed it just acting like its a little sluggish in 1st gear and the trans will slide to 2nd but then 3rd and 4th its fine. i'm just wondering why my car is acting assy. it runs better when its cold but still not as good as before. i even got a fuel injector cleaner and all of the cleanings you can do under the hood but i don't know whats wrong. it even bounces at idle, it didn't do that after i got the car fixed. i also got a new egr valve do i need a new engine or is it just fucked up! ughhhhhhhhh i'm so irritated! help please

thanx

Maybe I misunderstood what you were trying to say, but this almost sounds like your clutch has gone bad.

How does the engine act in neutral? Is it fine? Revs, idles, etc OK?

I don't know much about auto trannys but I want to make sure this is a tranny problem and not an engine problem.

Sounds like your transmission is going out. Have you had your tranny flushed. If not I would advise it. It might give you some more time before you have to get a new tranny.

yeah when i put the car in neutral the car revs fine but when i put it in drive it still revs but not like it was when i first got the car cleaned out and the spark plugs and wires changes, and a new distributor cap

I am not 100% about this but I think it cost like 75 to 100 dollars. I believe you are supposed to get it every 75,000 mile, someone please correct me if I am wrong. I can't answer that second question. My other car was doing the same thing and it started getting really bad but, after the flush it was fine. I can't say this will happen for your car though.
