i have a 97 b14 just swap a sr20ve with the original ecu, i was thinking of putting the greddy e-manage ultimate. i'm checking if the vvl will work on the greddy or what the best way to tune e vvl ecu.

You don't need a piggyback for VVL to work, all you need i a RPM Window Activated Switched that gives the VVL solenoids power when you are at a certain RPM. The only reason you would need a piggyback is to run the stock VE injectors, I've seen people use Greddy Emanage and Apexi SAFC2 and get good results
