It's cranking fine but not starting. I pulled the spark plugs just to check and found some oil in the plug wells. I don't think that's related to this problem. I looked at the pulled spark plug while cranking and got no spark, but I smelled gas, so I know it's an ignition issue.
Am I right in assuming the ignition is the culprit? What can I do to remedy this problem?
Thanks

well for basics you need fuel sprak and combustion to run you have fuel but no spark so your halfway done now you just need to pinpoint the problem. do you have any codes?

Check your ignition module, aka Power transistor.
That just happened to me...
Infiniti Parts online carried it for my car for $70. Aftermarket, but she runs mint.
