Ok i have every bolt taken out that I can possible see that go to the tranny. I cant get it loose from the engine what the hell is the problem?

Even the hidden ones? What about the ones to the starter? How many have you taken out?

Altogether there should be 8 tranny bolts and 2 starter bolts. That is a total of 10 bolts. If you less, you are missing some. Go back and look again.

Also, hopefully you have a helping hand. Safely, repeat safely! have one person under the tranny jiggling it back and forth as another person is on the driver side pulling on it. You might need to jack it up and down very slightly to get it to break free.

Thanks anyway guys I got it off took a little persuasion.

It was probably stuck on the alignment pins. I had all my bolts out on the XE and it felt like I still had a couple in because the pins fit so tight. Took longer to get the tranny loose from the pins than it did to get the bolts out.
