Has anyone in here swapped there power steering to manual steering on a B13. If so do you like it and problems? Tell me what you know.

the steering ration is much slower accoring to many people on this board. instead of switching the rack, reroute the inlet and outlet lines from the rack to each other, and i guess theres something u can do about the pump like dissasemble it so it serves as a idler pulley?

If drag racing and maybe road racing are in your future, go ahead and put a manual rack in. The ratio's are slower, i.e. it will take more turns lock to lock. Either buy the PS eliminator or a Sylvia alternator bracket. Ones an idler pulley, the other moves the alt. to the back of the engine.

If you plan on autocrossing or doing some serious days at the track I'd leave the PS in. For the sake of your forearms at least.

The final option is to route the rack back into itself , then T off the solid line in the middle of the rack, run that line to a breather device/ catch can device. The RealTime Type-R's use this style PS.
