I just thought someone might be curious what kind of gas mileage a VE gets. I kept waiting to figure it out when I didn't have any racing or dyno time on a tank of gas, but that just never seems to happen (poor me). Anyway, I got 26.35mpg on my last tank of gas. That was with an autocross (12 runs total) and about 60 miles of highway driving. The rest was all city driving. I also was not trying to get good mileage. Just regular driving with plenty of trips to redline. Not bad really.

It's actually a little better then what I used to get with my DE but I am driving faster also. I think 28 combined would be possible if someone other then me drove the car. Plus I do a lot of city driving and almost zero highway.

I only get about 9-10 Km/l on my SR20DE!!*LOL*

It will be cheaper for me to get more power!! NICE! :D

is it because the g20 is heavier than sentras?

My car is actually kinda light for a 98 Sentra SE. Nissan says it weighs 2600lbs with no sunroof. I weighed 2485 with about 50-60lbs taked out. My guess is it weighs about 2560lbs or so. Not bad with all the stuff I have.

the b12 or my b12 i think weighs 1000 kgs or 2200 lbs acc to my car registration. is this correct? so a b12 wd a 20VE will be faster in a straight line right?

yes, since F=MA, you could solve for A and get

A=F/M.

More M means less A.

well...i think so coz the engine carries more load i think...that's 300 lbs more than 98's b14 se-r and 700lbs more than my b12...your car is heavy...but anyway it looks really good...

what's ur quarter mile time? i want to see how the VE ecu performs(well regardless of the weight...hehe):D
