i just bought a titanium looking shift knob from nopi, and i go to install it and of course doenst fit. do sentras have different thread than other cars??

Depending on the shift knob.. You maybe able to cut your shifter it self and then drill out the knob to get it to fit.. The only thing is how the knob goes on? Does it screw on or do you have the little side screws that you can just tighten over the shifter.. Good luck..

What about it doesn't fit? Too small or too large? Wrong threading?

Most Nissan shifter thread size is 10mm.

Nissan and Honda's have the same thread size/pitch. Kinda surprising it doesn't fit either (considering how everything seems to be made for a Honda now).

Hey Yosho, have you tried fitting your SI knob in your SE-R? That doesn't work. ;)
It seems like you can take everything from a Nissan and it will fit on a Honda, but nothing from a Honda will fit on a Nissan.:p (except the obvious!)

yeah it wont screw on, and yeah its suppose to be like a honda s2000 shift knob, i guess honda stuff doesnt fit on nissans
