I've been looking at some of the circular-cross section mufflers just for kicks; I'm wondering how some of the N1 style mufflers are actually mounted on the car. In many of the pictures I've seen there appears to be a metal band around the body of the muffler, that I assume is attached to the car somewhere underneath where I can't see it. Can anyone post a pic of this mounting method, or at least explain what's done?
