with the sr20det s13 engine, what should i be shifting at
to get the most power and still keep safe from harming the
engine? Thanx.

It completely depends on the sutup you are running. If the engine is stock, I say shift no later than 7000 because you're out of your powerband. If you have cams, shift higher.

One of the guys in SCC( I think it was Dave Coleman) once wrote an article about shift points. It said that if you get a dyno chart for your car, you somehow use the Hp numbers and the gear ratios to find the specific RPM for each individual gear.

i have a upgraded turbo and other misc stuff like front mount,
boost controller, fuel management...
i think i should be shifting at like 7500 but is that safe for the engine? I dont wanna no explosions. =)

Supposedly the SR20 can handle around 8000 on stock internals. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
