Simple Question.

Whats the max. safe psi a t25 could push through a de with 370cc injectors (3bar), fmic, and stock mafs, walbro fuel pump, on pump gas?

I Will dyno it when I get it finished to let you know on my de, just looking for approximations, guesses, experience, etc. on this question.

I said 14, because that's probably where it's going to spike to when you have it cranked up..:D

Depends what you consider safe, safe for the motor, safe for the turbo? That motor wont mind 15PSI as much as the turbo will

safe as in nothing fails.. the injectors, the maf, the turbo, the motor.

well the turbo wont last long at 15 PSI but it would make for a fast car for a little while. on pump gas you may not wantto go over 10psi but take someone's word who has first hand experience with this

i think JWT says that 11.75psi is the max for 370's, de maf, fmic, 3in exhaust, without running lean. I would get a walbro to be safe. I run @11.5psi on high boost with 370's(3 bar), de maf, fmic, 3in, walbro, with no problems

oh yeah i forgot to mention I will have a walbro :D

and I run 93 octane all the time, 11.5 is safe, I use high boost on the profec B about every other day to scare off a gsr, or 'lude. If my car was gonna blow, I PROMISE it already would have.
Hotshotsr20 ran 13psi on C16 race gas, but his inj went static, so that should tell you that 14psi is too much

I was hoping for 12psi but we will see what the dyno yields in a couple months.. more opinions are welcomed and wanted. (I will also have a profec-b if that matters)

I am kinda curious as well. I was thinkin that i would try running 13psi on my 4 bar 36 lb setup on 100 octane. Is this too crazy for jdm 9.5:1 motor? I would like to be around the 230-240 horse range and I figured that this would put me there.

On 370cc injectors 3 bar setup with stock maf, I know with stock cams and 9.5:1 compression, I'm hitting 95% injector duty cycle at WOT and 4.92 volts on my MAF. That's pretty damn close to the limit. I know at 10 psi, it will be at 100% for sure. BUT, the ECU is tuned conservatively so you can go slightly over 100%. At least I think my motor is 9.5:1 compression. It might be 10:1, who knows?

Bryan, your fuel would not be your limitation. 13 psi would be fine if you did not have a stock MAF. I assume you do though and your stock MAF would probably be at 5.11 volts.

I'm runnin the bored maf jwt program

Then the limit of your setup is your turbo, not your fuel.

you can run 12 pounds all day long without any problem what so ever. this will not damage the turbo or anything else. at 15 pounds you run the chance of destroying the turbo, but that is about it. i ran my stock gti-r turbo at 22psi all day, but i know it wouldn't last log so i upgraded it soon after i dynoed it and made bigger numbers. you might want to do just that and get a bigger turbo and fuel system if you want more out of the bb or de motor you are running.

To be honest all I am looking to do is safely run 7psi on low setting (everyday driving), and 12 psi on high setting (for racing and when people are just too close for comfort at 7psi :D ). I just want to be sure I could run 12psi all day long (if i choose to for some reason) and not have to worry about leaning out or maxing the 370cc injectors.

you can without any problems at all at 12 pounds.

poll will not tell you safe PSI, but DYNO PULL will. take it to the dyno, run it, tune it, watch your air/fuel ratio, listen for knock, watch timing, and all that, watch your exhaust temperature. if all checks out great and car keeps making power, then you are good. best of luck, but happiness begins at 15psi. :p

yes I realize a poll will not tell me safe psi. Did you not read the first post?

"I Will dyno it when I get it finished to let you know on my de, just looking for approximations, guesses, experience, etc. on this question."

And no offense but if your only running a 14.7 at 15psi you need to buy a nissan

:p :D

I have a good friend that is running 12 psi all day and the car. It runs like a champ. This is on a stock DET! Only upgrades are JWT 3 bar ECU,JWT POP Charger and a GReddy Type S BOV. Stock fuel pump and top mount IC.
