Hello everyone,

I own a 99 G20t *Auto* and have done some reasearching and decided its time to turbo it. I am going to go with a Garrett T25 Turbo...

My questions:

1. I only plan on boosting 5-7psi for starters. I am really afraid I can ruin my auto tranny, what do you guys suggest? Will it be safe or too much for my tranny? My car has about 42k miles and hasnt been takin to the track and driven carefully

2. I plan on doing some tranny upgrades too, I heard things about the Level10, performance torque converter and such... But will I be alright with #1 w/o these for a bit?

3. Also, do you think the BOV will go off even boosting 5-7psi with auto tranny? I know its supposed to go off when the gas is released and throttle valve rapidly closes. What do you guys recommend be the easiest & loudest BOV to set off?

dont have a G20 or an automatic, but,

the tranny would probably hold up for little while @ stock boost (6.5psi), I've heard good things about level 10, I know of a civic EX turbo auto that runs 12.92 w/ level 10 work. the BOV should "blow off" whenever you stab the throttle and let off. at least an annoying turbo Jetta on my campus does

someone w/ a G20 could answer your questions better though
