So i went to the track and had some great runs.
I bestest a 13.9 which I think is good.
so on my 6th run I had a little wheel hop. then No power to the wheels.
I checked things out and the drive side CV axle is loose in the tranny socket. I easily pulled out the axle from the tranny. I got it toed home and i haven't had a chance to look it over anymore. It would only drive like 5MPH it goes into gear fine and it didn't lose any Fluid. when it's in gear it's drive 5mph and when it i rev it won't put any power to the wheels.
How's my nightmare looking?????????????

Hey whats the big deal, I drove my jeep into a 10ft deep ditch, while avoiding a VDOT truck on an icy road. The guy offered to pull me out, and watched amazed as I drove out, with a completly stock jeep. Man i miss that thing.

Your tranny sounds fine, you may have broke an axle. How does the clutch feel, that may also be a possibility. I have seen some clutch disks lose their splines.

Sounds like the axle to me too. I had one take all the splines off the hub end on the pass side. Car did the same thing as yours.

Great news it's only a broken CV axle.
BUT Can anyone tell me how the hell do I get the broken part out of the tranny. there's no way to get to it.
Please!!!!!

Remove the other axle and you should be able to push it out from the other side with a long screwdriver.

Exactly, you can just pop it out. I had the same problem but mine didnt snap it just broke the C-clip and slipped out and when it slipped out it would just spin in any gear. it sucked I was going through the same feeling, like I thought I blew my tranny.
