: installed walbro fuel pump car wont start

i installed a walbro 255 fuel pump in my car and then went to start it and all it does is turn over it wont start anyone have any ideas. I pull the fuel lines to see if fuel was coming through and there was fuel so the pump is working i can here it prime as well but just wont start. it started for a few seconds then just died again. now just turns over. any help greatly appreciated. thanks

You might want to check and see if you got the fuel lines back on correctly. Supply and return need to put back on the outlet and inlet of the fuel pump correctly.

Did you plug your fuel pump fuse back on? I'm pretty sure you are not that dumb, but small thing like that really happes.

Just turn the car on and let it get pressure. Do it about 3-4 times then try to crank the car over. You may want to step on the gas while trying to crank it over. You need to build pressure in the line. Unless you have the return and sendder lines backwords then check that.

thanks alot i had the return and sender lines backwords. I switched them around and it fired right up. Thanks for all the help. see ya
